It was a privilege for us at the Pak American Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce – PACCC to visit the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry – GCCI, engage in a productive and forward-looking meeting with the leadership and respected members of GCCI.
We were warmly welcomed by Mr. Muhammad Humayoun Butt, President GCCI, and Mr. Saad Jamil Irfani, Senior Vice President GCCI, along with other distinguished members of the chamber. Representing PACCC were Naveed Anwar (President, PACCC), Rana Khurram Ali Khan (Vice President, PACCC), and prominent businessman Zahid Malik.
During the session, PACCC leadership shared the vision, objectives, and future roadmap of strengthening business relations between Pakistan and the United States. Discussions focused on trade facilitation, export opportunities, investment collaboration, technology exchange, entrepreneurship support, and creating stronger linkages between the business communities of Chicago and Pakistan.
Members of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry – GCCIย actively participated in the discussion and raised insightful questions, which were addressed in detail by the PACCC delegation.
A significant milestone of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between both chambers, aimed at promoting long-term collaboration in multiple areas of mutual interest including trade promotion, business networking, knowledge exchange, mentorship opportunities, and support for Pakistani businesses exploring opportunities in the US market.
As a gesture of goodwill and appreciation, GCCI President Mr. Muhammad Humayoun Butt presented commemorative shields to Naveed Anwar (President, PACCC), Rana Khurram Ali (Vice President, PACCC), and Zahid Malik.
The meeting reflected a shared commitment to building stronger institutional partnerships and opening new avenues of economic cooperation between Pakistan and the Pakistani-American business community.
