Consul General Zaman Mehdi received Mr. Naveed Anwar, President of the Pak American Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce at the Consulate General of Pakistan, Chicago.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the role of Pakistani-American businesses and entrepreneurs in strengthening Pakistan-United States trade relations, promoting investment, and building stronger economic linkages with the Midwest region.
Consul General Zaman Mehdi appreciated the contributions of Pakistani-American business leaders in advancing bilateral economic cooperation and serving as a bridge between Pakistan and the United States. He also congratulated Mr. Naveed Anwar on being awarded the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan in recognition of his valuable services toward promoting Pakistan-U.S. economic ties.
